| | | Hi there, I hope this finds you well and that you and yours are in good health. It has been a while since our last newsletter; that doesn’t mean we have been sitting on our hands though! The end of the year is always a great time for reflection, and I would like to use this opportunity to share what has been going on and get a sneak peek into the year to come. If the crisis has given us anything, it would be that the logic of transparency of goods and services and collaboration have never been clearer. The everyone-for-themselves mentality of the linear economy has made us extremely vulnerable, and it is encouraging to see how the circular values of collaboration and sharing are finding their ways to everyday business. 2020 was a bumpy ride for FLOOW2, forcing us to end things that were no longer serving us and learning to say ‘no’. Cut the crap, is what we called it. And although it sometimes hurt, we came out a lot stronger and healthier. Now 2021 was all about regrouping and focusing our efforts to start building again from a clean and solid basis. We reorganized the roles in our organization, took ongoing projects to the next level, and initiated some new and promising partnerships. Below you’ll find an oversight of how we are doing on 2 of our most visible projects. I don’t want to look too far ahead now, but some projects we have lined up for 2022 are just too exciting to not at least give you a sneak peek. We’ll be taking our healthcare sharing platform across borders and seas, launching in at least 2 more countries in Q1… We’ll come out with an entirely new product, making it really easy and affordable to have your own sharing marketplace… PharmaSwap is looking into European expansion… I am extremely proud of our team for what we have done past year, reinventing ourselves for the 3rd or 4th time in our existence, and coming to where we are now. It feels good to be on the right track and I look forward with great confidence. Wishing you the most wonderful holidays and I hope to reconnect in the new year! |

| | | Launched last May, we have seen the number of accounts grow to nearly 750, representing over 500 hospitals and elderly-, home and disability care organizations. Intrakoop is the leading Dutch health GPO, with a strong focus on sustainability. By helping their members optimize usage of already available equipment, products, supplies, facilities and more they can save procurements costs while at the same time work more circular. A variety of items has already been exchanged, such as meal wagons, evacuations chairs and room dividers. Check out the platform here (in Dutch). |

| | | Well… where to start on PharmaSwap: so much has happened for this platform last year! Pharmacists use it to exchange medicines of limited expiry date, to prevent unnecessary wastage of valuable products. Because selling of medication is by European law only allowed with a wholesale permit, which pharmacies don’t usually have, we were operating in a red zone. Since both the Ministry of Health and the Dutch health Inspection recognized the importance and potential of avoiding wastage of medication within pharmacies, PharmaSwap was given 12 months to reorganize the workflow so that it would fall within the rules. As of last October, that new workflow is operational. At this moment about 500 Dutch pharmacists have signed up, representing 25% of the market, as well as 8 wholesale organizations. Transactions value over €500.000 and nearly 1,800 packages were saved from destruction and issued to a patient instead. The current offerings on PharmaSwap represent a value of nearly €1.7 million. With the blessing of health inspection in our pocket, PharmaSwap can now focus on expanding number of users, growing the number of transactions and start looking at new pastures to copy the concept to. |
