What will travel look like in 50 years time? That's the question we asked our travel experts, including Hilary Bradt and Simon Calder, and you can find their answers here.
Why fifty? Why, I'm glad you asked! Because Bradt Guides are celebrating fifty years of publishing this year - and if by any chance you've missed my earlier emails, you can get your ticket to join us in London right here.
For me, I can't believe how much travel has changed in just twenty years. Gone are the days of pitching up with only a battered guidebook and your wits and charm. Now, between Google Maps and automated check-ins, it's possible to travel through a country without speaking to anyone beyond border control.
Possible. But not much fun, I tend to think.
How about you? What has changed since you first started travelling? And what do you think travel will look like in another fifty years?
Cheers, Abi
