Still, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is considering changing its guidelines for self-isolation to make it easier for those who have been exposed to someone with the coronavirus to return to work if they are without symptoms. Meanwhile, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and face of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, predicted that the United States could able to reopen its schools in the fall. U.S. equity markets rallied Wednesday amid optimism that hospitalizations related to the coronavirus are beginning to plateau in some of the hardest-hit areas of the country. And the NFL draft scheduled to take place between April 23 and April 25 will be “fully virtual,” with prospects, coaches, general managers and executives stuck at home to make their selections.
