Previously available only to paying subscribers, Midjourney has now opened up its AI-powered text-to-image tool to everyone, Digital Trends reported.

Keep in mind, however, that you’ll need a Discord or Google account to get started, and you can only use the tool to create up to 25 images before you’ll be asked to pay. Midjourney’s subscription packages start at $10 a month and top out at $120 a month.

The company also posted a short video showing how to use the tool if you're new to it.

The recently released HMD Skyline smartphone already had an eye-catching design, but now it has an even more striking look with the addition of a new Blue Topaz color.

The new color coincides with HMD’s collaboration with FC Barcelona as the club’s official smartphone partner, Digital Trends reported.

SoundPeats’ new Capsule3 Pro+ earbuds come with cutting-edge technology that includes Cowell Top-Firing xMEMS microspeakers and AI adaptive active noise canceling (ANC), Home Theater Review reported.

The xMEMS microspeakers are said to be the world’s smallest solid-state speakers and use a single-piece silicon membrane to enable the delivery of a more precise sound with “clear mids, crisp highs, and robust bass,” the report said.

Guaranteed to perform well at the box this weekend are three already-released hits: Deadpool & Wolverine, Alien: Romulus, and It Ends With Us.

But what of the newcomers? Blink Twice, The Crow, and The Forge are expected to be among the films fighting it out for fourth place this weekend.

Blink Twice sees actor Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road) go behind the camera to direct a psychological thriller that she also co-wrote. The Crow, meanwhile, is described by Screen Rant as a “dark and gritty reimagining of the original graphic novel,” while family drama The Forge follows a high-school graduate on a path to making better life decisions ...

On August 29, Nintendo will release what Digital Trends has described as “its most surprising game in decades.”

Emio — The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club is an unlikely revival of an NES visual novel series that hasn't had a new entry since 1989, the report notes. But what really grabs the attention is that it’s an M-rated game about a masked serial killer.

Interestingly, having played the opening prologue and first two chapters of Emio, Digital Trends found it to be far tamer than the M-rating suggests. “Even so, I'm already finding myself enthralled in a creepy killer story and detective gameplay that feels refreshingly old school," the report said ...
