The Hamburg Metropolitan Region holds the potential to become a global leader in renewable energy. Thus, it comes as no surprise that the 2019 OECD report recommended: “Thinking big!“ to boost northern Germany as an energy hub. In this vein, the launch of a cross-state network of expertise “Innovation and Science Parks for Renewable Energies and Green Hydrogen” (IWP) saw Stade become one of its five hotspots. In our latest Future Hamburg Talk, Jenne Wendt, Project Manager, Business Location Development Stade, outlines the plans and Stade's unique selling point as a business location.
