AGENDA Home Health NOW | Lessons Learned During the Pandemic: An Emergency Response Viewpoint Time: 1:00 PM ET - 1:30 PM ET Join our guest speaker, Vince Moffitt of Basin Home Health, as he discusses some of the important lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic, all from the viewpoint of an emergency response personnel! Vince will discuss what home health agencies should focus on as they look ahead to the future. Home Health NOW | Implementing your COVID vaccine program in home health Time: 1:30 PM ET - 2:15 PM ET The FDA has issued Emergency Use Authorizations for the first COVID-19 vaccines. These vaccines were developed, tested, approved, and mass produced in record time. As these vaccinations have arrived, many people, including homecare employees. This session will look at the statistics on vaccine skepticism to assess likely employee pushback on a vaccine program. We will also review the employer’s obligations to maintain a safe workplace and the employees’ rights to refuse the vaccine. From there, we will consider what an employer vaccination policy ought to look like and how it should be operationalized. Home Health NOW Industry Update Time: 2:15 PM ET - 2:25 PM ET This session will discuss the productivity drain and other impacts of the PHE and payment model switch on these members of your agency’s workflow, then explain how you can overcome these challenges with the right resource.
