+ GAIA CREATES RICHEST STAR MAP OF OUR GALAXY - AND BEYOND
ESA's Gaia mission has produced the richest star catalogue to date, including high-precision measurements of nearly 1.7 billion stars and revealing previously unseen details of our home Galaxy.

+ GAIA DATA RELEASE 2 VIRTUAL REALITY RESOURCES
The long-awaited second data release from ESA's Gaia mission has been published today. With these data, astronomers can create the most detailed map of our Galaxy ever made. Several resources have been developed to visualise this extraordinary data set, both for public outreach and scientific exploitation purposes.
