| | | | Power Moves Maryland Tech Council, the technology and life sciences trade association in the state, announced the appointment of a new chair and new board directors earlier this month. Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation's Brad Stewart has taken over as board chair, while GlaxoSmithKline's Steven M. Walker is chairman of Maryland Life Sciences. Kelly Schulz, CEO of the Maryland Tech Council, expressed her enthusiasm for the new members in a statement, highlighting their representation of respected companies within Maryland's innovation ecosystem. “Our ability to educate, connect, and advocate for members depends on diverse perspectives from creative and forward-thinking board members," she said.
