Imagine a day when there are no parking spaces

By KELLY P. KISSEL | Metro editor

Garth Brooks Day is two days away: Tiger Stadium will be packed. Alex Box Stadium will be packed. There's also softball and a track meet set for Saturday. How does LSU plan to get people onto campus, and then off of campus, after a big sports-and-music day?

By Olivia C. Landry • Here's a look at the results.

What's the internet without cat photos? We take a look at the upcoming "Greater Baton Rouge Cat Show." I'm not a big fan of cats but I still need to post a Cuteness Alert.

By Judy Bergeron • Adorable photos here!

And a bit of sad personal and personnel news. Assistant Metro Editor Jennifer Wadsworth is leaving us for different pastures. The version of this newsletter sent overnight was her last one. She's on Twitter if you want to follow her new adventures.
