Saints (and Pelicans) owner Gayle Benson was awarded with the Times-Picayune's Loving Cup on Tuesday evening for her philanthropic endeavors. The award, which has been bestowed annually since 1901, is presented to a New Orleanian who has made a significant contribution to the quality of life to their fellow citizens of Louisiana.
