| Hello. Almost 100 lorries carrying aid have entered Gaza but none of it has yet reached the people living there, the United Nations (UN) says, as the population faces famine. An Australian man who was incarcerated for five years in Beijing reveals what life is like inside a Chinese prison. And finally, watch as a man tries and spectacularly fails to scale a cruise ship in Sydney. | |

TOP OF THE AGENDA | Gazans face starvation as UN says aid yet to reach civilians |
|
| | People in Gaza have told the BBC the situation is getting "harder every day". Credit: AFP | Two days after aid began entering Gaza, new supplies are still yet to reach people, the UN says. Almost 100 lorries have crossed into the territory since Israel eased its 11 week blockade but the UN said its teams have been left waiting for permission from Israel to collect the supplies. But even these supplies will not "make a huge difference", writes Gaza correspondent Rushdi Abualouf, describing the situation on the ground as "very catastrophic". An Israeli politician told the BBC the "main problem" is that Hamas has been "taking over the convoys" and they want to ensure aid reaches the population. |

Baby sent to Gaza: Seven-month-old Niveen was evacuated to Jordan for open-heart surgery, but after it was completed she was returned to the territory. Settler sanctioned: The UK has announced sanctions on Daniella Weiss, a far-right Israeli settler known as the "godmother" of the movement. | |
