![]() Body positivity started as a movement back in 2012, and as the internet and social media has changed, so, too, has the movement itself. These days influencers share videos on TikTok and other platforms under the guise of inclusive sizing, but it’s not always the case, as this excellent piece by senior reporter Brittany Wong notes.
And as TikTok is a predominantly younger platform, there’s notable room for error. As Christine Coleman, a clinician with DRK BEAUTY, told Brittany, “Body inclusivity is a move in the right direction, but we also must be mindful that people aren’t always going to get it right, especially young people.”
