| | | Edition 43 | 2021 | | Dear John Do, | | Artificial intelligence technology is trained by people or data, who always bring a personal perspective. Thus, prejudices can be expected in the industry. Our latest interviewee, Dr Susan Wegner, is responsible for the "Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics" business unit at Lufthansa Industry Solutions in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. A computer scientist and mathematician by profession, AI quickly became her focal point. Wegner also volunteers as an ambassador for proTechnicale, the technical orientation and gap year for young women. In the fourth part of our interview series "Female AI - four questions to women in AI," she comes out in favour of more gender diversity and outlines her strategies to achieve swift and easy AI solutions for everyone. Click on our Hamburg News site to read more daily economic reports from the Hamburg Metropolitan Region in both German and English. We value your opinion and look forward to your feedback. Sincerely, Hamburg News Editors
