Geoscience Australia and Toitū te Whenua Land Information New Zealand have signed a $187.4 million contract with satellite company Inmarsat to use its new I-8 satellites, benefitting from the Southern Positioning Augmentation Network’s (SouthPAN) new satellite service starting in 2027.
