Savour the flavours of southern Italy at SicilyFEST

Fancy a slice of Sicilian food culture? A four-day festival celebrating the Mediterranean island's multifarious regional delicacies takes over Islington's Business Design Centre next month, with street food, chef-led masterclasses and live entertainment to evoke a traditional sagra di paese (country fair) vibe.

Head to SicilyFEST for fresh pasta galore, seafood-rich couscous, and all sorts of dishes to hit that crisp-gooey sweet spot (think Etna-shaped arancini, ricotta-oozing cannoli, and unabashedly indulgent pizza fritta). There's a superb selection of Sicilian wines and digestivos to wash it all down with — make ours a limoncello, please — plus a different DJ set or musical performance each day of the festival.

SicilyFEST runs Thursday 2 May-Sunday 5 May, with tickets costing £5 per day. These are selling fast — get yours, pronto via the big blue button and get ready for an authentically Sicilian knees up centred on great food and community spirit.
