Hotel Hack: Robotic waitstaff compromised

Japan is a land where ancient traditions meet high technology — and there’s no better example than the country’s famous chain of robot hotels. They combine cutting-edge robotic staff with Japan’s legendary hospitality for a completely unique resort experience. But something happened the hotel owners never expected: The robots were hacked! Apparently, unsigned code in robots' design allowed hackers to overtake the hotel’s “bedside assistants.” This put guests at risk of being spied on or listened to. Thankfully, the humans behind the scenes caught the hack before any harm could be done and they apologized to guests for “any uneasiness they may have caused.” The only uneasiness I’m feeling is from the robotic staff. There are seriously no humans in sight at any of the chain’s hotels!
