Volunteer together, make the pledge
To celebrate the ABC’s 90 years of connecting communities, ABC Radio has partnered with Volunteering Australia to launch #ABC90for90, encouraging Aussies to pledge 90 minutes volunteering to a cause of their choice.

Get together with your friends, family and colleagues and make the pledge to give 90 minutes of your time. There are so many ways to give back; pick up rubbish at your local park or beach, host a ‘crafternoon’ with friends to knit toys for children in need, or walk a dog at the local shelter.

Behind the scenes of a radio broadcast
Covid restrictions have been tough, preventing us all getting out and about in our local community as we normally would. But as restrictions ease, we are looking forward to broadcasting live from the suburbs of Adelaide and saying hello to many more of you.  Keep an eye and ear out for us!

Last week ABC Radio Adelaide’s Stacey Lee and David Bevan broadcast live from Glen Osmond, Clarence Park and (using the magic of radio!) Port Lincoln.

See how it was done.
