| Carolyn Walker | Carolyn Walker began writing at age ten, has been a published journalist, columnist and author for more than twenty-five years, and has worked independently as an editor. She also received her Master of Fine Arts in Writing in 2004 and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Carolyn's work has recently appeared in such publications as Crazyhorse, The Southern Review, Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art, and Hunger Mountain. Her book A Mother Runs Through It-a collection of her creative nonfiction-was released in 2001. Her fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry were published in the anthology At the Edge of Mirror Lake. Her journalism has appeared in HOUR Detroit Magazine; Detroit Monthly Magazine; Michigan, the Magazine of the Detroit News; the Detroit Free Press; the Flint Journal; the Oakland Press; the Observer & Eccentric newspapers; and The Clarkston News.
