2. Provide a Safe Haven for cancer Patients at CANSA Care Homes

CANSA is having a telethon to raise funds towards our 8 Care Homes situated country-wide. Donors can make a general donation to CANSA or choose to donate to their region.

Because rural districts don’t have oncology clinics, cancer patients living there must move to unfamiliar and often distant bigger centres for up to six weeks to receive life-saving treatment - this can cause added trauma.

Our Care Homes, located close to treatment centres, provide patients with accommodation, healthy meals, and transport to and from treatment centres. Not to mention, important information and emotional support.

Our Care Homes are a safe haven for patients who require cancer treatment. Help us keep these safe havens open while our dedicated CANSA staff and volunteers are ensuring that patients are cared for and supported.

Patients also receive care and support through our CANSA Tele Counselling line which is free and online support groups.
