A charter flight carrying cruise ship passengers from Japan landed at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland overnight, starting the clock on a quarantine period to ensure passengers don’t have the new virus that’s been spreading in Asia.

BCSO: Two inmates dead after cardiac episodes less than a week apart

A Bexar County inmate is dead after experiencing a cardiac episode while waiting to be transported to a local hospital, officials say. Authorities say the 64-year-old male suffered the episode while waiting in the medical section of the Bexar County Adult Detention Center.

A local school board member who’s been censured twice in the past two years for personal legal issues is now facing another court battle. Long-time Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD Trustee Gary Inmon gave up his law license last year after pleading guilty to two felonies, but he refused to give up his board position.
