He has quickly learned being a grandparent is the bomb diggity. You get all the perks of spoiling and loving on the baby, but get to hand him back to mom and dad when any dirty work arises😂😂. I am in final preparations of moving my 21-year-old daughter Nicole to Los Angeles. She is finishing her last semester of UT at their Burbank campus. Time sure flies. Time to get back to work. San Antonio police were called to a home in the 7500 block of Dream Valley Street for a disturbance and found two dead bodies with gunshot wounds in front of the home. San Antonio cave opens to public for first time in 2 years Robber Baron Cave is opening to the public for the first time in two years. On Sept 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., attendees can take a self-guided tour through a portion of the cave that was originally a tourist route when the cave was open in the 1920s. The cave only opens to the public once every 18 months in the interest of preserving the cave. USA Basketball Men's National Team opens training camp in Las Vegas Led by San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, Team USA opened 2019 FIBA World Cup training camp in Las Vegas on Monday. A total of 17 NBA players are fighting for 12 spots. The first day of camp featured high energy, thanks to a spirited group of players. "It's a wonderful group," Popovich said. Despite the attempts of both deputies and medical staff within the Detention Center, Enrique Perez was pronounced dead just before 10:30 p.m. Monday. State Rep. Roland Gutierrez calls for special session to address gun violence The El Paso mass shooting is the third mass shooting in Texas in the last two years following the church shooting Sutherland Springs and school shooting in Santa Fe. State Rep. Roland Gutierrez is asking Gov. Greg Abbott to call a special session to pass gun safety legislation. The next time lawmakers meet in Austin will be in January 2021. Gutierrez said that’s not soon enough. SAPD: Bicyclist wounded in drive-by shooting on West Side A man riding a bicycle on the West Side was wounded in a drive-by shooting overnight, San Antonio police said Tuesday.
