Kiernan Christopher Williams, 19, was taken into custody Monday at an address off of Zarzamora Street, Police Chief William McManus confirmed. Williams is accused of opening fire at the bar, located at 1011 Avenue B on the River Walk along the Museum Reach. The shooting led to the deaths of Robert Martinez, 21, and Alejandro Robles, 25. Five others were shot, including four teenage males ranging in age from 16 to 19 and a 46-year-old woman. The five victims are expected to recover. And so he went with that family in support of his performance,” Huff said. Robles was shot in the back. The mother of the performer they were there to see was also shot and injured, according to Huff. Huff says his son was raised to be a blessing to other people and that’s how they’ll remember him. Vasquez, who served as the chief of the San Angelo Police Department from 2004 to 2016, is accused of funneling $130,000 to himself through checks made out to his band, “Funky Munky.” Vasquez’s band was provided the money in exchange for Vasquez pushing city officials to twice award its public-safety radio system to a company named in the indictment as “Vendor 1,” according to the Department of Justice. Those contracts were worth over $11 million.
