Not one but two little girls were kidnapped and brutally murdered. Heidi Seeman was abducted on Aug. 4, 1990, and Erica Botello was abducted weeks later on Aug. 23, 1990. They would both be found on the same day, but miles apart. Police later determined the murders were not related. Almost 30 years later, both murders remain unsolved. The inmate was found hanging from a bedsheet in solitary around 11 p.m. Saturday. Kirby soldier's family gets some justice after hit-and-run suspect sentenced to 10 years in prison A Kirby soldier said his family got some justice Thursday when Judge Jennifer Pena handed the woman who struck him and left him for dead a 10-year prison sentence. Marisa Ross pleaded no contest to the charge of failure to render aid and asked the judge to decide her sentence. Ross told the judge she thought she hit a curb in the morning of Aug. 21, 2017. SAPD: Men chase taxi cab after they say driver tried to lure girls Two men are in police custody after they chased a taxi cab with their SUV and rammed into its bumper, causing it to crash into the garage door of a fire station late Thursday night. According to police, the two men had become upset when they learned that a cab driver allegedly pulled up alongside their front yard and attempted to lure two young girls into his cab.
