The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. near West Martin Street and North Picoso Street. According to police, the driver of a black sport utility vehicle was traveling on North Picoso Street when it ran a stop sign. The SUV T-boned the officer's vehicle as it was traveling on West Martin. State website shares pictures, info about kids up for adoption You can learn about Texas children who are up for adoption anytime, anywhere. The Texas Adoption Resource Exchange, or TARE, website, run by the state's Department of Family and Protective Services, compiles pictures and small profiles of all the children in Texas who are legally free for adoption. Being "legally free" for adoption means DFPS has terminated the parental rights to the child. You can search for a child based on name, age, gender, ethnicity or region of the state. SAY Sí to provide more resources to students with new $20M building A local nonprofit that offers free after-school programs to students is expanding and moving to the West Side. We have visual arts, film and photography, a theater program, and then we also have new media, which is everything technology-based," said Stephen Garza-Guzman, communications director of SAY Sí. The creative youth development program at SAY Sí serves middle and high school students in the San Antonio area. It's tuition-free and has been around for 25 years. What's Trending More than 20,000 rainbow trout to be stocked in New Braunfels The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will stock 20,498 rainbow trout in the Canyon Tailrace over the course of eight weeks starting Dec. 6. Trout will be stocked just below the dam at Guadalupe Park, Whitewater Camp, 4th River Road Crossing, 3rd River Road Crossing and Camp Huaco Springs in New Braunfels, according to TPWD. The tentative dates for rainbow trout stocking along the tailrace are Dec. 6, 13, 20 and 27, as well as Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Hopkins has 2 TDs, Texans beat Colts 20-17 to top AFC South Determined to bounce back from an embarrassing loss, the Houston Texans used big performances from Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins and solid defense to beat the Indianapolis Colts and move into first place in the AFC South. Watson threw two touchdown passes to Hopkins and finished with 298 yards to help the Texans to the 20-17 win Thursday night.
