Good morning! Leslie is back after a quick weekend trip to visit friends in Georgia. Late last week, she was fearful of Hurricane Dorian and wisely changed her return date. I'm glad she made it back. Billy Jack Crutsinger, 64, is scheduled to receive a lethal injection Wednesday evening for the 2003 killings of Pearl Magouirk and her 71-year-old daughter Patricia Syren. Authorities say Crutsinger killed the women then stole Syren's car and credit card. Burger Map: Take a tour of San Antonio burger joints In San Antonio, you can find a burger almost everywhere. Krispy Kreme selling extremely limited cheesecake-filled, pumpkin spice doughnut Krispy Kreme is selling pumpkin spice original filled cheesecake doughnuts for one week only. The doughnuts are available Sept 2 through Sept. 8 to kick off the fall season. The company is also offering to fix other pumpkin spice disappointment with a free doughnut. Today's HeadlinesSouth San ISD superintendent resigns along with three board trustees The South San ISD school board of trustees accepted Superintendent Alexandro Flores' resignation Tuesday, after less than a year on the job. Trustees Mandy Martinez, District 1, Louis Ybarra Jr., District 2, and Elda Flores, District 7, announced their resignations shortly before the vote to accept Flores' resignation. The trustees said they did not feel valued on the board. An interim superintendent has been appointed until one is chosen. CPS Energy to send crews to Florida after Hurricane Dorian CPS Energy crews are preparing to head to Florida in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. A CPS Energy team consisting of 62 employees in 30 vehicles will convoy early Wednesday morning and are expected to meet up with other utility workers from across the nation in Florida on Thursday. They'll be deployed to areas where help is needed most. Man shot, killed in Southeast Bexar County The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was fatally shot in Southeast Bexar County overnight. Deputies responded just after 1 a.m. to the home in the 10200 block of Blossom Lake after the victim's brother called for help.
