Good morning! Many San Antonians are waking up without power 10-12 hours after severe storms tore through our area Thursday evening. I hope crews can wrap up restoring power and cleaning up storm damage before the extreme heat sears South Texas this weekend. Please be safe!  All my outdoor plans have gone indoors. I’m also installing blackout shades on most of my home’s windows. My yellow lab, Truman, will spend most of the weekend inside parked on the couch. Any time outside, he’ll have access to a big bowl of fresh water in a shady spot. His walk will likely be after the sun sets and the sidewalk and pavement cool off. Yeah, I baby him. ;)  Stay cool my friends.
