CHICAGO: “Let’s Talk & Celebrate” is a Gold Glamour Gourmet bash by 35+ Chicagoland Let’s Talk Womxn restaurateurs. The event will take place on March 2 from 5-9 p.m. at Moe’s Cantina in River North to kick off Women's History Month. It will feature 35 tasting stations, cocktails inspired by women, a gold-clad drag show, a DJ, and dancing. Tickets to “Let’s Talk & Celebrate” are available on Let’s Talk Womxn's website at $95 for general admission and $125 for VIP access. Let’s Talk Womxn is a fully volunteer-based collaborative action movement of women-owned food and beverage entrepreneurs that focuses on boosting members’ businesses.
MIAMI: #MiamiTech Happy Hour—where industry profs are invited to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, tech folks, and more—is hosting two events, one on Feb. 8 and another on Feb. 15, from 6-9 p.m. at FREEHOLD, located in Wynwood. NEW YORK: New York Road Runners’ (NYRR) new brand campaign and logo for the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon debuted this week. NYRR partnered with brand consultancy Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv to design a simpler, bolder logo, and worked with creative agency YARD NYC to enhance the campaign—titled It Will Move You—to incorporate everyone involved in making the marathon happen, in addition to the runners. The 2023 New York City Marathon will take place on Nov. 5.
PALM SPRINGS, CALIF.: Visit Greater Palm Springs is partnering with Caravanserai Project to support up to 30 small business entrepreneurs in Coachella Valley with micro-grants up to $7,500 and business readiness training. The project is available to Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs with businesses that are a part of the hospitality and tourism ecosystem in the area.
