Four-year-old Logan Squibb raised $52 for the Grandview Kids Tape a Toonie fundraiser. At two years old, Logan was diagnosed with Autism. He was referred to Grandview Children’s Centre for speech and language therapy, which has allowed him to shift from barely being able to speak, to non-stop talking. This has led to an increase in confidence. When the Tape a Toonie fundraiser began, Logan went to everyone he knew for money, including immediate family members, his aunt in Goosebay Labrador, and family friends. “[His dad and I] are very proud of Logan,” said Logan’s mother. “We encourage helping in every way that we can.” Logan and his younger brother Beau also give to less fortunate families during the Christmas season. |

Our monthly giving program is the easiest way to provide steady, ongoing support for Grandview Kids. Giving monthly means your gift will be put to immediate good use by helping more kids with special needs across Durham Region. By giving monthly, you can spread your gift out throughout the year, and make an even bigger impact for Grandview Kids. Your donation will make difference for our children and their families. As a Life Changer, you will also receive a special update from our 2017 Ambassador – Rylee, letting you know of her progress and the support she has received from Grandview. |
