Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport handled 10% more passengers in August than it did during the same month in 2018, making it the 23rd consecutive month of passenger activity growth, according to figures released by GSP.

VentureSouth closes third angel funding round

VentureSouth has closed its third sidecar investment fund, the VentureSouth Angel Fund III, at a record pace, reaching its maximum target size of $5 million. Raised during 2019, the fund allows its 82 investors to participate automatically in investments made by active VentureSouth members.

CVS Health’s retail medical clinic, MinuteClinic, is now offering video visits in South Carolina. Patients age 2 and older with minor illnesses and injuries and skin conditions can seek care through the telehealth function.

Whiskey After Dark

The 6th annual Whiskey After Dark is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, at Larkin’s Sawmill. The event will feature more than 100 whiskeys to sample, a beer garden, wine tastings, live music and food from Larkin's Catering and Events. A raffle will be held to benefit the Cancer Survivors Park Alliance.
