"Remember to enjoy being in this world, being able to do what you are doing."
Stephen Schwartz
Andrei Burton is a bike beast, Guinness record breaker, ninja warrior — and has a lot more tricks up his sleeve

Andrei Burton broke his ankle “a few times,” snapped all the ligaments across his shoulder after landing on a rock from a 5-foot fall, and had a car run-over and break his foot (not part of the competition). But none of that stopped him from becoming a world record-breaking bike rider

His mentality: “I never want to give up, never want to get defeated.”

The 30-year-old pro biker got his start at 13 watching guys use their bikes to jump over walls. “It was the first sport where I didn’t understand how it worked," Burton told Forbes. "It’s such a strange and fascinating type of movement. I got hooked.”

Outside of training over 20 hours per week inside the gym and practicing new moves around his hometown of Devon, England, Burton is also a competitor on ‘Ninja Warrior UK’ and has broken four Guinness World Records in mountain bike trial riding (and planning on breaking three more this year).

“You’re going to be better at things you enjoy; riders get too obsessed with reaching a certain goal. The fun element is really important to keep you going.”

And it only took him one try to do this...

Pudding and a million airline miles: one man’s travel-hacking quest

If you’ve ever wondered how you could combine your sweet tooth and joy for swindling corporations, look no further than David Phillips. The Californian earned 1.2 million airline miles mailing in 12,000 barcodes from Healthy Choice pudding cups (thank you goddess of irony) in 1999. All of this was the inspiration for Adam Sandler’s 2002 existential-downer mega-hit, Punch-Drunk Love.

While the pudding miles dried up after five years, Phillips has continued to find deals and accrue millions of travel miles. Here are a few tips that The Pudding Guy swears by:

  1. Study travel blogs and deal sites: One Mile at a Time. View from the Wing. Secret Flying. Mommy Points. Dan’s Deals.
  2. Jump on last-minute deals: You might have to tell your boss you have giardia (ask your cousin, the GI, to write you a sick note).
  3. Keep your travel calendar flexible: You’re going to have to book outside vacation season. Darn, sorry bossman, giardia again!
  4. Evaluate costs and benefits: Sometimes it makes more sense buying flights to gain miles than spend the ones you've got. Basically, make sure the snack packs you buy are not more expensive than the flight itself.

Man quits job to become full-time Pokémon hunter

A New Zealand man has done what we've all been fantasizing about since Pokémon Go dropped this summer:  he quit his job to roam the countryside on a quest to catch ‘em all. Tom Currie, 24, decided enough was enough. “The man” will not suppress a Trainer’s desire to seek the rarest (and dare we say legendary?) of Pokémon.

Armed with a backpack of supplies and smartphone full of Pokéballs, Currie has already captured 90 of the 151 Pokémon in the game. “I wanted to have an adventure,” Currie said. “I have been working for six years, and I was desperate for a break. And Pokémon gave me the chance to live that dream.”

Currie has been encouraged by friends, transport companies offering to get him to remote parts of the country, and even his supportive (yet naive) mother, who says, “His nana and I don’t understand the game, but I remember him loving it in his childhood.”

Sure, it’s an unconventional move. But sometimes if you wanna be the very best, like no one ever was, you gotta follow your heart and “understand the power that’s inside.” Pokémon!

Pokémon GO is crushing other game apps like Candy Crush Jelly Saga!

What is your all-time favorite mobile game app?

1. Pokémon GO
2. All of the above
You will never have to do this again...

...And you'll still be able play your favorite Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) video games.

Last week the company announced it is bringing the iconic NES back later this year as the NES Classic Edition. Many gamers have fond memories of blowing on a Nintendo cartridge, then feeling that sense of glee when it worked this time. The new NES Classic edition will be packed with 30 self-contained games. So, no more blowing.

In a Facebook post, Nintendo announced that the new console will be a smaller version of the original system...
