Dear John Do,

Everyone agrees on the need to slash CO2 emissions. To this end, the EU Parliament has approved a mandatory blending quota for sustainable fuels amounting to 2 per cent of fuel at European airports from 2025. The quota for so-called Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) will rise to 6 per cent by 2030 and 70 per cent by 2050 - an ambitious timetable. We spoke to Angus Baigent, Marketing & PR Manager at Hamburg Aviation.
