Holidays align: Hanukkah doesn't start until sundown of Dec. 25 this year, but it marks only the second time this century that the Jewish festival of lights and Christmas align. Vaccination rates: As state health officials scale back their public promotion of flu and COVID shots, federal data show that Louisiana's vaccination rates are lower than much of the country.
