Integrative Medicine Workshops and Classes
Join us for one of our new winter health and fitness classes
Happening in February & March:
Beginning this month, Dance for Wellness combines dance steps from jazz and ballet, with Pilates and yoga poses to help our bodies move with more flexibility and confidence.

Next will be Yoga for Restoring Energy, a six-week series geared for reducing cancer-related fatigue and offering a nurturing place to release stress and muscle tension. Our popular online and in-person Introduction to Meditation classes will start again too.

Dance for Wellness – Expert movement therapists can help you reclaim control of your strength and spirit in this dance-inspired class. Learn movements from ballet, jazz, yoga and Pilates to tone the thighs, lift the butt, strengthen the abdominals and shape the arms. This is a low to medium impact total-body workout that adjusts to the needs of every person in the class.

Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation – Morning Group – Learn the basics and feel the benefits of mindfulness meditation. Our small group workshops are to help people affected by cancer and are feeling overwhelmed by treatment and adjusting to life after a cancer diagnosis.

In six classes, a certified mindfulness teacher will help you work with your breath to become more aware of your body, surroundings, and reactions to stress.

Mindfulness Meditation Online – Meditation can be a way of doing something to care for ourselves and to take control of stressful situations. In this class, we learn a wide variety of practices and tools to build a personal relaxation routine which works best for you. You will be taking an active part in improving how you feel and your personal happiness. And by joining this evening group from home, your mind and body will naturally wind down before bed.

Yoga for Restoring Energy – Restore your energy while naturally releasing stress and muscle tension. With the support of a trained yoga teacher, you will practice relaxing poses and simple breathing techniques to put your mind and body at ease.
