Today we celebrate women and men who have cleared for us a path of holiness and union with God. But what exactly is a saint? According to the Catholic Church, it is someone who lived believing in and following the teachings of Christ. In terms of All Saint’s Day, that means you probably know a few saints in your own life already. All Saints Day isn’t just about celebrating the saints that we pray with, such as St. Francis or St. Clare, but the living, breathing saints that surround us every day.
