If you listen to PM, you’ll still hear me there, but we decided to make This Week to give you a weekend chance to get up to speed on the key, big stories of the week, reminding you of the main developments then taking you deeper for the context and meaning.
Whether the stories are domestic or international, This Week is also there to tell you what went unsaid and unexplained as the week unfolded.
We range widely, from all the varied implications of COVID, for our kids, for jobs, for the health system, for science, to the big global stories that reach into Australian lives, like Afghanistan, or China, or the Pacific.
There’ll be conversations with key people in the know, people who have been there, who are experts, or who have watched the stories play out. It’s a more leisurely pace of conversation, made for listening over a weekend coffee.
