| About Richard E. Simmons III
In 1976, Richard graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee with a degree in economics, and worked for 25 years in the property and casualty insurance brokerage business. As a businessman and CEO, he recognized how so many men experienced the tension of living the Christian life in a business environment that at times can be quite ruthless.
Seeking to help men develop and move towards spiritual maturity, Richard founded The Center for Executive Leadership in 2000, a non-profit, faith-based ministry in Birmingham, Alabama. Since then, Richard has mentored and discipled thousands of men and continues to impact lives with an approach that is structured and methodical through writing, teaching, and speaking across the country. His best selling titles include The True Measure of a Man, The Power of a Humble Life, and his newest book Reflections on the Existence of God. |
