Are you as excited to be heading to Amsterdam as we are? In just three days, the RAI will open its doors and as always, we will be in Hall 7, booth 7.D35 to greet our customers, partners and friends and show you what's new in P5. 

Our partner list has grown to 31 this year, and we couldn't be more proud! New partners in 2018 are NAS vendor QNAP and cold storage manufacturer FAST LTA - read more about the combined solutions in this newsletter.

Presenting P5 Version 5.6

This autumn, we will release version 5.6 of the P5 Software suite, including some exciting new features for all modules: 

• P5 Synchronize - Throughput boosting with parallel file transfers
• P5 Synchronize - More flexibility due to a new deletion mode
• P5 Synchronize - Manual Sync for one-time cloning
• P5 Synchronize - Restore from Sync
• P5 Archive - LTFS support for import and export of data
• P5 Archive - Support for Backblaze Fireball, Amazon Snowball and Microsoft Azure import/export services to import large datasets
• P5 Backup/P5 Archive - Backblaze B2, Microsoft Azure, Hitachi S3 and Wasabi S3 support

A demo of the new version is available on our booth - we are looking forward to showing you the new features!

P5 Desktop Edition - Backup and Archive for everyone

With the release of version 5.6, Archiware is introducing the new P5 Desktop Edition, an essential license package including P5 Archive and P5 Backup to a single LTO tape drive. The P5 Desktop Edition is intended to make P5’s high-end data security and broad feature set affordable for single users and small groups at the affordable price point of just 1,000 EUR/1,000 GBP.

Archiware is incredibly proud to be hosting our partner QNAP, producer of high-quality NAS storage hardware, on our booth 7.D35. A representative from QNAP will be on hand for enquiries about QNAP's products. 

As of version 5.5, Archiware P5 can be installed directly on the QNAP NAS - feel free to ask for a demonstration of the combined solution! 

Welcoming FAST LTA to the partner network

Last but not least, we are happy to introduce our latest partner, FAST LTA.
The Munich-based storage manufacturer of the Silent Brick "COLD Storage” with transportable storage containers is now a certified Archiware partner. At IBC 2018, they are showing their product line on booth 7.D21.
