| That's why MD Anderson has launched a revolutionary initiative called APOLLO (Adaptive Patient‑Oriented Longitudinal Learning and Optimization). APOLLO aims to expose cancer's evasive action and to advance our understanding of how the disease becomes a moving target. |
| APOLLO is part of MD Anderson's Moon Shots Program™, a comprehensive initiative to rapidly convert scientific discoveries into clinical advances to significantly reduce cancer deaths. APOLLO will gather high‑quality biopsies and blood samples taken before, during and at the end of treatment. |
| The biopsies will be analyzed, and results will be entered into our Translational Research Accelerator, a big data platform that integrates longitudinal clinical and research data across our entire institution to benefit all patients. |

| Ultimately, APOLLO and many other vital studies will provide a pipeline of comprehensive MD Anderson patient data from which all of our patients will benefit. This research fuels our mission to end cancer. |
