The Charity Series of Poker is headed back to Las Vegas for another charity event on Nov. 12 to benefit Families for Effective Autism Treatment Inc. (FEAT), which is a non-profit organization of parents and professionals established in 1994 and designed to help families with children who have received the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), or Asperger’s Syndrome. The Chip In For Autism charity poker tournament has a buy-in of $300, and it begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Illuminarium. Players begin with 10,000 in starting chips, and 20,000 add-ons are available for purchase as well. The top prize in the tournament will be $5,000, and there are also many final table, bounty, and silent auction prizes available. A cocktail hour with appetizers, an open bar, and a silent auction will take place before the tournament, and doors open at 3:30 p.m. for that portion of the event. Anyone is welcome to attend the cocktail hour and silent auction for $100 without participating in the tournament. Attire for all of the evening’s events is business casual. Hope to see you there! |
