Miles for Hope 2024
Dear John,

At the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), our mission goes beyond reuniting missing children with their loved ones — we are dedicated to stopping child sexual exploitation and ensuring that every child enjoys the safety they deserve.

We invite you to be a part of this important work by joining Miles for Hope, our virtual event uniting supporters like you for one powerful purpose: creating a safer world for kids.

From September 20 to October 4, people across the country will walk, run, bike, and move with purpose to raise awareness for missing children and fight against child sexual exploitation that steals their childhoods. Every mile you log brings us one step closer to protecting vulnerable children and supporting families in their search for loved ones.

By participating in Miles for Hope, you are directly contributing to the work NCMEC does every day:
  • Helping bring missing children home,
  • Stopping child sexual exploitation,
  • Providing free resources to educate children and those who keep them safe, and
  • Supporting families in their darkest moments.
Here’s how you can get started:
  1. Sign up at ncmec.org/milesforhope and pledge your miles.
  2. Move at your own pace from September 20 to October 4—whether it’s walking, running, or biking, every mile counts.
  3. Get active for 40 minutes a day and ask 40 of your friends and family to donate $40 to the activity of your choice.
  4. Share your journey with your network using the hashtag #MilesForHope to inspire others to join in this mission. Don't forget to tag us @NCMEC on social media!
If you can't participate physically, you  can still make an impact by donating or sponsoring a participant. Every contribution helps NCMEC continue our vital work of protecting children from exploitation and creating safe futures for all kids.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we bring hope to families and ensure that every child grows up safe, loved, and free from harm.

With gratitude,

Michelle DeLaune
