Dear Friends, In the spring and summer of 2021, I spent much time visiting the Bridge Ministry observing their wonderful work changing and saving the lives of men dealing with life-threatening drug addiction issues. I was so inspired to make a film that would shine a light on the Bridge Ministry’s compassion as they build strong intimate relationships with the men which enable them to positively affect their lives. It’s a lesson of love and compassion, and it’s the heart of my film A Bridge to Life. I was so lucky to have completed the filming in 2022 just before I was diagnosed with ALS. While these are tough times, I am so uplifted by my mission of creating this film and sharing the wonderful lessons of the Bridge Ministry with communities across America to help our country deal with our serious drug addiction crisis. To fulfill my mission, I am so excited that the wonderful organization American Public Television has agreed to present the film to PBS stations across the country for broadcast in September 2025. I have not been able to acquire any underwriters for the broadcast so I need to raise charitable funding to cover the expenses of making the film available for national broadcast. I am still determined to bring this message to our national audience and I am asking for your help to get us there. Also please feel free to share this message with others and thank so much for your wonderful support. If you have any questions about this, you can email me at chris.farina@rosaliafilms.com.
