Vaccines for Scots with health problems to be delayed

The rollout of the coronavirus vaccine to Scots with underlying health conditions and unpaid carers will be delayed due to an unexpected dip in supply, health secretary Jeane Freeman has said.

A UK-wide issue has meant Scotland has received 200,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine than expected.

As the country continues to fight the coronavirus pandemic, here is a list of the top 14 areas in Scotland that are showing the lowest rate of infection in the last week.

Tight restrictions are still in place across the country, with the Scottish Government warning that they will last throughout February.
