Dec. 3, 2021 Jury selection is complete in the trial of former Brooklyn Center police officer Kimberly Potter. The jury will be made up of 11 white men and women, two Asian women and one Black woman. The jury is evenly split in gender. There are 14 jurors, including two alternates. The two will be released after closing arguments. Jurors range in age from in their 20s to 70s. Opening statements begin next Wednesday, Dec. 8, but court will resume Monday for the parties involved to discuss pre-trial matters.
