CHICAGO:The Anti-Cruelty Society's annual BARK event is back for its 28th edition following a two-year, pandemic-induced hiatus. On May 21 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on the Stadium Green at Soldier Field, dogs and their humans will spend the morning—rain or shine—raising money and awareness for The Anti-Cruelty Society with a 2.5-mile walk along Chicago's lakefront. This year's event is dedicated to late Chicago Police Officer Ella Grace French who lost her life in the line of duty in Aug. 2021.
