AUSTIN, TEXAS: The iconic Bootsy Bellows x Sports Illustrated Circuit Series After Party is returning to F1 Austin for its second year Oct. 21-22. The two-day event will kick off the city’s 2022 Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Austin American-Statesman. Oct. 21 will feature performances by The Kid LAROI and Zedd, while Oct. 22 will be headlined by Post Malone with a DJ set by Zack Bia. Both events will be produced by Uncommon Entertainment.
BALTIMORE: Last week VidCon made a big announcement: Its first-ever East Coast event will take place from Sept. 29-Oct. 1, 2023 at the Baltimore Convention Center. VidCon Baltimore will bring the culture of the East Coast creator economy to life, with quality programming across the event’s signature "Community and Industry Tracks," providing attendees sessions and experiences tailored to their specific interests. The convention, which celebrates online videos and its stars, will also return to Anaheim next year for its flagship event June 21-24..
CHICAGO: City Cruises Chicago has announced its offerings for the fall season, including the return of Seadog Haunted River Tours, a costumed tour of the spookiest parts of Chicago offered on weekends now through Oct. 30. Other cruises returning this year include Brunch on the River and the Lake, a Chicago Lake Lunch, a “Sights & Sips” cocktail cruise, and an architectural tour of the city. Additionally, those looking to plan their holidays early have the opportunity to now reserve a spot on City Cruises Chicago’s Thanksgiving feast on the river or the lake. LAS VEGAS: The Bellagio Resort & Casino has something new in store for its fall visitors with the unveiling of the property's conservatory and botanical garden's "Artfully Autumn" display. It comprises of dramatic sculptural pieces; an abundance of fall floral, foliage, and pumpkins; and a new custom fragrance. Open through Nov. 12, the artworks were envisioned by designer Ed Libby and the Bellagio’s horticulture team. The experience pays homage to modern architecture and artists such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, and Louis Comfort Tiffany. NEWYORK: Hilton has announced the appointment of Mark Sanders as general manager of the New York Hilton Midtown. In the new role, Sanders will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 1,878-room property, which also boasts the largest ballroom in the Big Apple. He joins the New York Hilton Midtown from Highgate Hotels & Resorts, where he served as managing director and led hotel operations for The Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan, an IHG hotel.
