Did you know that during the 1870s in the Belgian town of Liège, 37 cats were trained to deliver the mail around that region, well they tried anyway....

Most of the cats weren't interested in delivering letters, and when a letter rarely found its destination, it took over 5 hours at least after dispatch. As you can imagine, this scheme didn't last very long, but they still get top marks foreffort!
