Hey… Creator.

I am loving all the feedback we’re getting on the new podcast and newsletter. I appreciate you so much as we figure out what this is and what it all means. It’s fun to do new things and I’m so grateful to get to share this work with you.

This week, I’m on vacation, and that feels good to say, because it’s been a while. And I want to be honest with you: We had some promotions lined up, some things we wanted to sell to help make budget for this month, and it just felt… wrong.

I ignored my intuition for so long, because I thought other people knew what the right thing to do was. But the truth is I am always the expert on me. Other people can offer wise opinions, but nobody knows what you know. That’s what I’ve learned, anyway.

So, since I’m taking a break, I thought you should, too. I don’t quite know what it is we are building with this new brand and “thing” we’re creating. But it feels good, and I want to keep going.

So this week, all you need to know is I care about you and respect your trust. There have been times when I didn’t do that, and I’m aware of those times. There have been times when I got greedy or scared or just didn’t know what to do.

What I know now is we have to at very least trust ourselves. If we don’t listen to that little voice that says “no, this is wrong” or “you’re better than this,” then what’s the point?

So, I’m out for the week; but we’ll be back soon.
