HIJACKING REPORTED: Standoff at airport in Malta

Two hijackers armed with grenades have diverted a Libyan plane— identified as an Afriqiyah Airways Airbus A320 with 118 passengers—to the island of Malta and have threatened to blow it up, state television reported.
