Ever since I can remember I’ve always been fascinated by the life of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. And probably no time in history was there a more compelling and captivating era then when Frank Sinatra owned the Cal Neva lodge from 1961-1963. .

You talk about a net of intrigue and gossip, the Cal Neva Lodge was home to more gossip golden nuggets than maybe any other venue during the 1960s.

It was a getaway for who’s who in the mid 20th century including JFK and his brother Robert (who were rumored to have flings with Marilyn Monroe there), the Rat Pack, mobsters, countless movie stars and politicians, and it was the last public appearance by Marilyn Monroe before her sudden death in August 1962. The stories Ive heard from people who worked there could make you sit still in awe for days !

So its no surprise that Original vintage treasures from the Sinatra era Cal Neva Lodge are in extremely high demand by collectors and Sinatra fans.

Especially for the cigarette lighters, gold cuff links, and other relics engraved with “Frank Sinatra’s Cal Neva Lodge” on them. Because Mr Sinatra’s ownership was so short lived, before he was forced to sell the Cal Neva, there is very little evidence of his ownership.

But, one particularly desirable artifact that has eluded the market and may be the most significant evdinece of Sinatra sownership is an original Cal Neva promotional brochure.

Based on our research an original has never surface until we acquired one a few years ago. All the major auctions have only offered Reproductions of the only Frank Sinatra Cal Neva brochure ever produced .
.
So this past week we are excited to report that we found another ORIGINAL. This recent discovery came from the estate of Keely Smith.

Keely Smith was a well known singer in the 1950s/60s/70s and was even the celebrity guest on “What’s My Line?” on March 18, 1962 (available on YouTube).
