Nickâs session covered our role in current initiatives, challenges, and collaborative efforts to alleviate pressures and improve outcomes across the criminal justice system. | | In May 2023, the Ministry of Justice launched a Call for Evidence on Open Justice. The summary of responses has now been published on GOV.UK. The insights shared by respondents will inform the departmentâs policies to modernise and improve the transparency of the justice system, ensuring it upholds the rule of law. | | A reminder that we've launched our new WhatsApp channel allowing users to stay informed with the latest news, updates and announcements. You can sign up to our channel to receive all the latest information to your mobile phone. | | Wolverhampton Magistratesâ Court will resume hearings on Monday 3 February 2025. The court temporarily closed in November while essential heating works took place. All affected cases were moved to courts across the Black Country and wider region during this period. | | There is still time to register to meet our probate team who will be holding a drop in sessions at our Birmingham Service Centre on 3 February 2025. This session is an opportunity for local probate professionals to meet the team, find out more about the service and hear about planned improvements.
